Warehouse Incharge

Role & responsibilities:

• Managing the Receiving, put away Picking, Packing and Dispatch operations as per the customer requirement & dispatch plan.
• Managing of the daily stock transfer activities.
• Ensuring that the Storage system are been followed during the operations as per customer norms
• Planning of operation as per plan, allocation and distribution of resources in area.
• Ensuring productivity numbers are achieved and deliverables related to operations are met. • Reporting of MIS to concerned stakeholders.
• Manage the team proactively by optimizing the departmental performance with respect to customer's production and quality requirements.
• Ensure everyone in your team follows the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Work Instruction (WI)
• Lead continuous Improvement projects like Kaizen, QC projects etc. • Encourage the team to buildup innovative ideas and imbibe the quality culture in every team member.
• Lead 5S initiative, especially in department • Ensure adherence to safety standards, especially in department • Manage the information flow and coordinate among respective departments within MLL and Customer.
• Manage the absenteeism within the specified target. • Support and achieve audit targets in 5S,Safety, Process,other customer audits etc.,
• Ensure proper utilization of available resources - Manpower, Material handling equipment etc.
• Report departmental KPIs, any deviation, reasons for gaps and counter measures actions plan.
• Managing daily work distribution as per priority and customer requirements.
• Mentor and give required training to the team members.
• Providing solution to the problems / issues related to primary packaging, Put away & storage activity
