Associate General Manager/Deputy General Manager - Finance & Accounts - Integrated Steel Plant - CA (8-12 yrs)

Position Name : AGM / DGM - Finance & Accounts

Location : Chhattisgarh

Qualification : Chartered Accountant, with minimum of 10 years of experience in any reputed company having integrated steel plant

Experience : 8+ years

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

- Oversee vendor payments, invoicing, and reconciliation of accounts.

- Ensure timely collection of receivables and manage credit control processes.

2. Inventory & Fixed Assets Accounting:

- Maintain accurate records of inventory, raw materials, and finished goods.

- Capitalisation and accounting for fixed assets

3. Cost Accounting & Budgeting:

- Monitor production costs, raw material pricing, and operational expenses.

- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for plant operations.

4. Financial Analysis & Reporting:

- Provide insights on cost reduction, process improvements, and financial planning.

- Prepare MIS reports for management decision-making.

5. Financial Management:

- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

6. Taxation & Compliance:

- Handling GST, VAT, TDS, and other tax-related filings and compliance.

- Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants for statutory audits and tax assessments.
