Job Description

*Purpose of the Role:

  • Lead and manage sales and business development for trading markets of assigned countries with Complete P&L responsibilities

Qualification & Experience

  • At least 3 years of FMCG sales Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Development/Modern Trade
  • Business Development experience in International Geographies

Key Deliverables of the Role

  • Responsible for Trading led export Business and be accountable for Revenue and Trading profit Objectives.
  • Incumbent will be the Key FPR for managing the distribution alliances between Marico and respective country partners.
  • Drive Excellence in Trade marketing, S&D, Category Initiatives and Sales Commercial.
  • Responsible for meeting budgeted business-wise top line performance and Net Contribution
  • Responsible for sales forecasting for ensuring smooth market servicing
  • Responsible for New Product Development for exports
  • Work with domestic, digital marketing / Product teams for creation of dedicated digital infrastructure for target markets
  • Assist in creation of POS / marketing collaterals for export markets
  • Coordination with Supply chain / logistic / finance teams for timely servicing of orders
  • Assist in development of custom packaging for export markets & Coordination with internal / external stakeholders for clearances (Design agency / legal / R&D / CQA)
  • Develop thorough understanding of Food & Cosmetic laws applicable to the relevant geographies, benchmark competition pricing / branding and maintain repository of all data
  • Assist in development and implementation of overall Exports business plans across markets
  • Responsible for settlement of distributor/trade/customer claims within specified timeframes
  • Ensuring a periodic reconciliation of accounts from channel partners / Key customers
  • Responsible for all company related communication to associates in the region.
