About Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and seasoned India Sales Head to spearhead our sales growth in India, with a strong focus on expanding into the GCC market. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the IT industry, a proven track record of closing large, complex deals, and the ability to lead by example, actively driving strategic sales initiatives.
This role demands a leader who can develop high-impact strategies, foster business growth, and deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead and drive sales growth, ensuring the achievement of revenue targets in the India market,
- Large Deal Ownership: Take direct responsibility for leading and closing large, complex deals with GCCs, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate the India & GCC market, identifying key opportunities and potential clients.
- Client Relationships: Build and sustain strong relationships with C-level executives and senior decision-makers in Global Capability Centers to position the company as a strategic partner.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team while personally handling critical large deal negotiations.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align solutions with client needs and organizational goals.
- Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and insights to the leadership team.
- Market Insight: Keep abreast of market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape within the Global Capability Centers ecosystem to adjust sales tactics accordingly.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Experience: 12+ years of experience in IT sales, with a focus on selling to Global Capability Centres at India
- Large Deal Expertise: Proven track record of closing large, multi-million-dollar deals
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IT services industry, specifically how Global Capability Centres operate and their technology needs.
- Sales Skills: Exceptional ability to lead complex negotiations, deliver compelling presentations, and navigate enterprise sales cycles.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive a sales team while maintaining personal responsibility for key deals.
- Travel: Willingness to travel across India and globally, as required, to engage with clients and pursue sales opportunities.
