Role & responsibilities
We are hiring for a Manager/Senior Manager Finance profile for our retail diagnostic labs and pharmacy division. The incumbent will be responsible for managing financial reporting, preparation of MIS, and statutory audits.
Position: Manager/Senior Manager Finance
Location: Medanta Gurgaon Retail Division (6 days & Work from Office)
Job Type: Full-Time
Professional Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong background in financial management and reporting.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience post qualification with a focus on financial reporting, MIS, and statutory audits. Experience in the retail/ healthcare or FMCG Industry is desirable preferably listed companies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance to senior management.
• Analyse financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Manage and coordinate the statutory audit process, including preparation and submission of necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and accounting standards.
• Responsible for managing the external auditors, addressing issues or queries that arise during the audit process.
• Responsible for implementing the financial controls, SOPs, policies.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of financial processes to identify and mitigate risks.
• Implement corrective actions to address any financial discrepancies or issues.
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, maintain documentation for audit support, and prepare tax provisions and disclosures in line with accounting standards.
• Identify and assess tax risks, manage tax audits by coordinating with authorities, responding to inquiries, and negotiating settlements.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency while ensuring compliance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax compliance and audit readiness, implementing best practices and leveraging technology where appropriate and train other team members.
Skills Required
Proficient in financial analysis, reporting, and audit processes.
Strong understanding of Indian financial regulations and accounting standards.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Should be flexible for travelling whenever required
