Role Overview :

We are seeking a Senior Manager Application Support to lead a globally distributed support team that ensures the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of mission-critical applications and data services.

You will play a key role in diagnosing complex issues, driving root cause analysis, improving monitoring, and building a resilient support ecosystem.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role demanding technical depth, operational rigor, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of support engineers across shifts to ensure round-the-clock application and data pipeline support.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues related to Python applications, SQL queries, Snowflake data warehouses, and API integrations.

- Monitor system health, set up alerts, and proactively prevent incidents through root cause analysis and trend identification.

- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, AdOps, and client-facing teams to improve system stability and customer experience.

- Design and implement automation for repetitive tasks, monitoring, and reporting using Python or equivalent tools.

- Create, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views across multiple data platforms.

- Support data integrity, ingestion workflows, and integration pipelines involving Snowflake and external APIs.

- Maintain strong documentation and knowledge-sharing practices for operational excellence.

- Establish KPIs and SLA adherence metrics for support performance and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- 12+ years of experience in application support, technical troubleshooting, or production operations.

- Expertise in Python scripting, SQL (Postgres/MySQL/PL-SQL), Snowflake, and API integration.

- Strong experience in data modeling, query performance tuning, and ETL support in a cloud data warehouse environment.

- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, SVN.

- Hands-on experience with support tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve issues under pressure.

- Effective communicator with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Client-facing experience with strong empathy and a solution-oriented mindset.

- Exposure to digital advertising platforms such as DSPs/SSPs is a plus.
