The HR Manager has overall responsibility for assisting with HR strategy, planning and execution for the organization ensuring alignment with the overall Corporate Strategic Plan and reports to the HR Line of Business Director, based in the U.S. More specifically, this position has full HR generalist responsibilities for the Global Business Services Organization in India, as well as some additional responsibilities supporting HR generalist matters in Europe. This role supports Human Resources Shared Services processes and policies and works in a collaborative fashion with the HR Shared Services Centers of Excellence including Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Staffing, and Organizational Development in addition to Country HR Directors, HR Support, and local HR teams across EMEA and APAC regions. It is critical that the Human Resources Manager balance both the business strategy and the HR strategy in a global, matrix environment.
Global Business Services (GBS) is comprised of multiple functions including Information Technology, Strategic Sourcing, Finance Business Operations/Strategy. As an internal service provider, GBS plays a critical role in enabling the success of all the Divisions across the Wolters Kluwer enterprise.
