Designation: Head - Architect
Experience: over12years as an architect from a reputed college
Reporting To: CEO
Qualification: B ARCH from a reputed college
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Location: Gurgaon
Roles and Responsibilities:
- In essence, the Head Architect in luxury construction is a visionary leader who combines design expertise with strong management skills to deliver exceptional architectural solutions for discerning clients.
- The role requires managing and supervising teams of architects and drafters, providing guidance on complex projects and ensuring quality standards are met.
- They conduct site assessments, review construction progress, and address issues that arise during implementation.
- The role requires advanced architectural expertise, leadership skills, and proficiency in design software, typically applied in architectural firms, construction companies, or independent consultancies where innovative, compliant structures are paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Strategic Vision and Planning:
- Developing and implementing the firm's architectural design strategy for luxury projects.
2) Client Relations:
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with high-end clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into design solutions.
3) Project Leadership:
- Overseeing the entire architectural design process, from concept to completion, ensuring high quality and innovative design.
4) Team Management:
- Mentoring and guiding a team of architects and designers, fostering collaboration and ensuring adherence to design standards.
5) Design Oversight:
- Reviewing and approving design proposals, ensuring they meet client requirements, building codes, and sustainability standards.
6) Contract Management:
- Negotiating and managing contracts with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Budget and Timeline Management:
- Ensuring projects stay within budget and are completed on schedule.
7) Innovation and Trends:
- Staying up-to-date on the latest architectural trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into designs.
8) Quality Assurance:
- Ensuring all architectural work meets the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
9) Communication:
- Effectively communicating design concepts and project progress to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive Architectural Design Experience: Proven experience in designing and managing luxury residential or commercial projects.
- Strong Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of architects and designers.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to effectively communicate design concepts and project progress to clients and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Architectural Software: Mastery of CAD, BIM, and other relevant design software.
- Knowledge of Building Codes and Regulations: Thorough understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve complex design and technical challenges.
- Project Management Skills: Experience in managing budgets, timelines, and resources.
