Job Description
- Analyze market data to support semiconductor procurement strategies, including supply and demand trends, pricing, and technology advancements.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential risks and opportunities in the semiconductor supply chain.
- Develop and maintain market intelligence reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management.
- Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to understand and anticipate semiconductor requirements.
- Monitor geopolitical and economic factors that could impact semiconductor supply and pricing.
- Assist in supplier selection and evaluation by providing data-driven insights.
- Support contract negotiations by providing market data analysis and cost modeling.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and support value engineering projects.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of procurement strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in market data analysis, preferably within the semiconductor or electronics industry.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (eg, Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of the semiconductor market, including supply chain dynamics, pricing trends, and key suppliers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.
