UI/UX Designer - Wireframe & Prototype Design (3-6 yrs)

Job Overview :

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer based in the USA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their expertise in user interface and user experience design, with a keen eye for aesthetics and usability. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging interfaces for our app and website which uses Gen-AI for , ensuring a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities :

1. User Research :

- Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.

- Gather and analyze feedback to inform design decisions.

2. Wireframing and Prototyping :

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to effectively communicate design ideas.

- Iterate designs based on user feedback and testing.

3. UI Design :

- Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for both the app and website.

- Ensure consistency in visual elements and branding across all platforms.

4. UX Design :

- Develop intuitive and engaging user experiences.

- Simplify complex processes and ensure ease of navigation throughout the app and website.

5. Collaboration :

- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver designs that meet business objectives and user needs.

6. Testing and Iteration :

- Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience. Iterate on designs based on test results and user feedback.

7. Documentation :

- Create and maintain design documentation, including style guides, design systems, and specifications for developers.

Qualifications :

1. Experience :

- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in the D2C mobile app and web design space.

- Prior experience with creating and launching consumer tech products.

- Relevant experience in home decor is a plus.

2. Portfolio :

- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in UI/UX design, including wireframes, prototypes, and final designs.

3. Skills : Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma. Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.

4. Creativity :

- Strong aesthetic sense with attention to detail.

- Ability to create visually appealing and cohesive designs.

5. User-Centered Design :

- Deep understanding of User-Centered Design principles and best practices.

- Ability to empathize with users and design with their needs in mind.

6. Communication :

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to present and explain design decisions to stakeholders.

7. Problem-Solving :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex design challenges.

8. Collaboration :

- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

- Open to feedback and able to iterate on designs.

Preferred Background : Previous experience working in home decor or interior design internet companies in the US is highly preferred.
