Job Description
- Customer Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their automation needs, production goals, and challenges
- Solution Design: Develop and design customized automation solutions that may involve programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), sensors, actuators, and industrial robots
- System Integration: Configure and integrate various components of an automation system to ensure seamless operation and compatibility with existing equipment
- Programming: Write and modify control software for PLCs and other automation devices, often using programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagrams
- Testing and Debugging: Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of automation systems to ensure they operate as intended
- Technical Support: Provide technical support to clients, including troubleshooting issues, conducting system diagnostics, and offering remote or on-site assistance
- Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials
- Training: Train client personnel and end-users on the operation and maintenance of automation systems
- Project Management: Manage automation projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination of resources
