Job Description
- The position of graphic designer in MitKat will be responsible for creating design solutions
- The role involves interacting with clients and understanding their needs before making design decisions
- A graphic designer will work to a brief agreed upon with the clients and director
- He will develop creative ideas and concepts, choosing the appropriate media and style to meet the MitKat clients objectives
Role requirements
- Any Graduate with 2-4 years of experience in Graphic design Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and MS-Office Creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines Meeting clients and senior management to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the project
- Interpreting the clients business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose
- Estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients
- Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
- Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
- Working on layouts and art working pages ready for print
- Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, account executives, web developers, and marketing team
