Land Acquisition Specialist - Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

- Research and identify potential land parcels for acquisition.

- Conduct feasibility studies, due diligence, and site visits.

- Assess land value, zoning regulations, and environmental constraints.

Negotiation & Purchase Agreements:

- Engage with landowners, government officials, and brokers to negotiate land deals.

- Prepare and execute purchase agreements, MoUs, and lease agreements.

- Handle price negotiations and contractual terms while maintaining cost efficiency.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance:

- Ensure land acquisition follows legal procedures, including title verification and clearance.

- Work with legal teams to handle documentation, disputes, and regulatory approvals.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national land acquisition laws (such as the Land Acquisition Act).

Stakeholder & Community Engagement:

- Liaise with local authorities, government agencies, and legal consultants.

- Address concerns of communities and landowners to ensure smooth transactions.

- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain records of land transactions, agreements, and legal documents.

- Prepare reports on acquisition progress, budgeting, and risks.

- Ensure all data is accurately documented for future reference.

- Strong knowledge of land laws, property rights, and zoning regulations.

- Experience in negotiation and dealing with government agencies.

- Ability to read legal documents, maps, and land records.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
