We are seeking a talented individual to join our investments team at Mercer.
This role will be based in Gurgaon.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Manager Investments (Recordkeeping).
We will count on you to:
- Provide operational support and efficiencies to client implementations and client service as needed, including adhering to procedures.
- Review opportunities to improve and make more efficient as possible.
- Research and resolve inquires and issues within the designated Mercer standards.
- Review, create and have peer reviewed, plan documents, plan document amendments, SPDs and SMMs.
- Some MS Office products will be used on a regular basis, including Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Create quarterly client reporting.
- Responsibility for completing daily, monthly, and ad hoc processes in support of overall team.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including but not limited to: Client Service and Operations.
- Answer inquiries from internal clients on the status of payrolls.
- Work with Mercer approved vendor(s) on a regular basis.
- Fast paced environment with rapid deadlines relying on stock market business days.
- There will be a strong emphasis with on-the-job training.
- Data input to various systems and requirements documents.
What you need to have:
- Graduate or masters degree in finance.
- A minimum of two years of experience in 401(k) administration.
- A minimum of five years of experience in 401(k) administration in operations or call center.
- Previous experience with 401(k) record keeping of at least five years.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- 401(k) compliance experience related to plan document review and analysis, including pre-approved documents and individually designed documents.
- Exposure to Global Capital Markets and working knowledge of various Asset Classes and Investment Strategies and performance attribution.
- Good command on MS Office applications (MS-Excel, MS-Word, PowerPoint).
- Problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, manage multiple priorities and work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment, ensuring standards and deadlines are met and keeping others informed and up to date.
- Strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work and perform under strict deadlines and quick turnaround projects.
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, business communication, and time management skills.
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office, third party tools Bloomberg, Investment Metrics/, Morning Star, Lipper, etc.
