AM/DM - Procurement (Service)

About the role : We are looking for a true techno-commercial individual who is excited to take up new challenges. The incumbent would be expected to manage Supplier Development activities, add new suppliers, negotiate with current suppliers for better margins and credit terms. 

Location : Jharsuguda

Position : Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager (basis experience & fitment)

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new service providers.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor performance against SLAs.
• Develop a preferred supplier base for recurring services.
• Achieve year-on-year cost savings through negotiation, demand management, and strategic sourcing.
• Analyze spend data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure procurement is aligned with budgetary constraints.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage service contracts to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
• Track contract renewals, extensions, and expirations proactively.
• Ensure procurement processes follow internal policies and external regulations.
• Conduct periodic audits of vendor compliance (legal, financial, ESG, etc.).
