Job Description
Function: Software Engineering - Backend Development

Requirements:
- Bachelor /Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- 15+ years of experience in Programming/Analysis or the equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Must have startup experience
- Other requirements include a demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast pace environment, a sense of urgency, organised and detail and task oriented.
Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
- Experience with J2EE technologies (JSP, Servlets, JSF, JSTL, EJB, JMS, Web Service, Java Script, AJAX)
- Frameworks - Spring, Struts and Hibernate
- Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment.
Strong expertise surrounding software development life cycle methodology including Lean Agile methodologies
- Experience in application and Web Server technologies
- Strong knowledge of and experience with XML and Web Services
- Experience with Oracle, DB2 (stored procedures, PL/SQL, query optimisation)
- Familiarity with Unix systems architecture
