Global IT Senior Director Domain Architect (HR)
Location: Gurgaon

An exciting leadership opportunity is open with a Gurgaon-based multinational! We are looking for a Global IT Senior Director - Domain Architect (HR) to lead and shape the enterprise HR technology landscape.
What Youll Bring:
- 17+ years of IT architecture experience with a strong technical foundation, preferably in large international professional services firms.
- Proven expertise in scalable architectures, API management, serverless tech, and low-code SaaS platforms especially in recruiting and learning domains.
- Experience in data-driven decision-making turning enterprise data into strategic assets.
- Strong capability to communicate architectural vision and roadmaps to senior business leadership.
- Hands-on knowledge of technology-enabled business transformation, digital innovation, and enterprise-level project delivery.
- Solid grounding in Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, DevOps) and a servant leader mindset to guide teams effectively.
- Expertise in implementing SOA and Microservices architecture using REST APIs and queue-based messaging patterns
- Proficient with both relational and NoSQL databases
- Strong understanding of on-premise and cloud-based infrastructures, SDLC pipelines, and deployment/configuration processes
- Skilled in defining and promoting best practices and architectural standards
- Advanced experience in systems integration, IT industry standards, architectural principles, and defining service-level agreements
- Focused on designing architectures that promote component reuse
- Hands-on experience in software delivery pipelines including CI/CD and DevSecOps practices
- Familiar with cloud platforms such as AWS (Azure experience is a plus)
- Solid grounding in software design and development principles with an emphasis on system stability, reusability, observability, and global performance optimization
- Proficient in application testing, diagnostics, and performance tuning
- Strong grasp of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies
- Working knowledge of data ingestion pipelines
- Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React
- Familiar with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
- Exposure to automation, performance, and load testing tools
- The Domain Architect is a position within the HR Digital Portfolio focused on driving architecture and innovation for HR Solutions. The portfolio manages and delivers internal software solutions and IT product offerings across the organization and has a significant transformation roadmap ahead.
- The role will work closely with Product Team Level Solution Architects, Technical Area Leads, Chapter Leads, Product Team Leads, Product Owners, and other solution and enterprise architects within and outside of the portfolio.
