Senior Manager - System Engineering (11-17 yrs)

We have an urgent opening in "System Engineering". candidate should have expert in "Hydraulic Advance Technology or Advanced System upgrade in hydraulic".

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. The incumbent will be a part of Advanced engineering & Systems technology team, Leading the System Engineering function for Products like Commercial Vehicle / Construction Equipment.

2. Drive technology strategy and system architecture in alignment with the product roadmap.

3. Priorities and Build Engineering capabilities aligned to department growth strategy and organisation's aspiration.

4. Work actively with global and local engineering & Cross functional teams for identifying technology/solution opportunities.

5. Lead Category engineering teams working on Hydraulics, Electrical and Controls for NPI and Current product maintenance.

6. Enable platform and solution level discussions, influencing architecture of the product, and delivering to product goals across quality, reliability, and performance.

7. Ensures on-time product development by collaborating with other leaders / stake holders to estimate reasonable and precise schedules for development and solve problems quickly.

8. Review Architecture and Component design and ensure adherence to standards and program goals.

9. Manage system integration & machine controls that meets the functional and performance requirements. Lead & Develop simulation powered product development.

10. Collaborate with internal, external, universities and open-source partners to onboard innovative technologies in a seamless manner.

11. Collaborate with suppliers and manage the overall development of systems.

12. Manage team and develop plans for adoption of new technology and its evaluation through standard TRL process.

13. Responsible for continuous product improvement and cost management that meets product margin goals.

Candidate Profile

1.Strong experience / background in Systems engineering. Previous or current experience in Systems Engineering, covering either Mechanical, Electronics, and/or Software.

2. Experience with overall product development, technology development/management and Understanding of the wider Systems Engineering discipline and related technology trends.

3.Ability to work across multiple disciplines (Hydraulics, E&E systems, System controls and software) to identify risks, drive discussions, detail system tradeoffs, and assess impact.
