Mphasis - Tech Lead - AEM Forms (8-10 yrs)

Years of experience needed - 8+ years of work experience (AEM Adaptive Forms implementation experience).

Responsibilities :

- Lead and guide the technical design and implementation of AEM Forms solutions, with a primary focus on Adaptive Forms.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the development team throughout the project lifecycle.

- Architect and design robust and scalable AEM Forms applications, ensuring adherence to AEM best practices and coding standards.

- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs.

- Oversee the installation, configuration, and deployment of AEM Forms environments.

- Possess a strong understanding of AEM Forms OSGi architecture and topologies.

- Drive the development of Adaptive Forms based on various data sources, including XFA Form templates, XML & JSON data, and Form Data Model (FDM).

- Implement complex Adaptive Form functionalities using expressions, rules, and JavaScript.

- Design and implement effective panel layouts and navigational structures within Adaptive Forms.

- Develop and manage multi-lingual forms within the AEM Forms environment.

- Lead the creation, management, and localization of Adaptive Form Fragments for reusability and efficient development.

- Implement lazy-loading and data binding techniques for Adaptive Form Fragments.

- Design and implement Adaptive Form Workflows (OSGi), including workflow model creation, stage configuration, application integration, and workflow invocation.

- Develop and implement custom AEM Forms workflows as per project requirements.

- Configure data sources and create Form Data Models (FDM) for seamless data integration with Adaptive Forms.

- Utilize FDM effectively for pre-filling Adaptive Forms and handling form submissions.

- Implement server-side validations to ensure data integrity.

- Configure Adaptive Forms for submission to REST APIs and other submission mechanisms using the Forms Data Model.

- Implement solutions for saving form data to databases.

- Design and implement Adaptive Form Templates and Themes for consistent branding and user experience.

- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of AEM Forms applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AEM Forms.

- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

- Mentor and guide junior developers within the team.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and features in AEM Forms.

- Participate in project planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities.

Technical Skills :

- Comprehensive understanding of AEM Forms Evolution, Capabilities, and Terminology.

- Proven experience in Installation, Configuration, and Deployment of AEM Forms.

- In-depth knowledge of AEM Forms OSGi - Architecture and topologies.

- Extensive experience with Adaptive Forms Overview, authoring UI, and various Adaptive Form Field types.

- Proficient in Adaptive form creation based on XFA Form templates, XML & JSON data, and FDM.

- Strong understanding and implementation skills of Adaptive Form Expressions.

- Experience in designing Panels, Layout, and Navigational structures within Adaptive Forms.

- Expertise in implementing Rules & Java scripting, including building custom Functions.

- Experience in developing Multi-lingual forms.

- Proven ability in Creating, managing, and Localizing Adaptive Form Fragments.

- Experience in Re-use, Lazy-loading, and Databinding of Adaptive Form Fragments.

- Deep understanding and experience in designing and implementing Workflow models and stages.

- Proficient in application integration and invoking workflows within Adaptive Forms.

- Expertise in developing Custom workflows in AEM Forms.

- Experience in Configuring various data sources for AEM Forms.

- Proficient in the Creation and effective Usage of FDM within Adaptive Forms.

- Strong understanding and implementation skills of Server-side validations.

- Proven experience in Pre-filling Adaptive forms.

- Expertise in configuring Submission to REST APIs and submission using Forms Data-model.

- Experience in Saving form data to databases.

- Solid understanding of Data sources & FDM integration with Adaptive Forms.

- Experience in designing and implementing Adaptive Form Templates.

- Proficient in creating and applying Adaptive Form Themes for consistent styling.

- Strong understanding of Java and J2EE concepts.

- Experience with RESTful web services and APIs.

- Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Minimum of 8 years of work experience with a strong focus on AEM Adaptive Forms implementation.

- Proven experience in leading technical teams and mentoring junior developers.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience working in Agile development environments is a plus.

- Adobe certifications related to AEM Forms are a plus.
