MyYogaTeacher is a well funded Silicon Valley startup with 2 headquarters; one in California, USA and another in Bangalore, India. We have a great marketplace product for Yoga where we connect incredible yoga teachers in India with clients around the world (right now, mostly in the US), for online 1-on-1 Yoga sessions. These sessions transform our client's lives - getting them in great fitness, great health, and deep peace of mind.

Our office is fun! There are dinner outings and drinks, we play pictionary, sports play outings after work hours and open pantry for snacks. We take all expense paid company trips to Goa, Ooty and Chikmagalur to celebrate the success of our work.

Looking for a trail blazing SEO Writer Extraordinaire to join our team !!

Responsibilities :

1. Conducting in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify relevant topics and search terms within the yoga and wellness niche.

2. Collaborating with the SEO team to implement keyword strategies effectively into content planning and creation.

3. Crafting well-researched, keyword-optimized content that aligns with both SEO requirements and yoga principles.

4. Developing captivating headlines and meta descriptions that entice users to click through to the website.

5. Ensuring that title tags and content subject are optimized with relevant keywords for maximum search visibility.

6. Creating engaging and informative blog posts that delve into various aspects of yoga, including poses, benefits, mindfulness techniques, and wellness practices.

7. Integrating internal and external links strategically within content to improve SEO and provide additional value to readers.

8. Maintaining a consistent writing style, tone, and voice across all content pieces to reinforce brand identity and appeal to the target audience.

9. Staying updated on the latest trends and developments in both the yoga industry and search engine algorithms to inform content strategy adjustments.

10. Collaborating with yoga experts or instructors to validate content accuracy and provide insights into audience preferences and interests.

11. Monitoring website performance metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and user engagement, to assess content effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an SEO Content Writer with a focus on yoga and wellness.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in content writing and editing, preferably within the yoga, health, or wellness industry.

- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress and GraphCMS, with experience in optimizing content for these platforms.

- Solid understanding of SEO principles and best practices, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building strategies.

- Proficiency in tools such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs for monitoring and analyzing content performance.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Passion for yoga and wellness, with basic knowledge of yoga principles, practices, and terminology.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.

- Excellent English writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and adherence to brand guidelines.
