Role:
Title: Admin IT officer
Location: Noida
Reports to: Senior Manager - IT Admin

Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and skilled IT Administrator for managing IT operations and infrastructure. The role will involve overseeing the entire IT infrastructure, including servers and IT equipment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and providing timely IT support to users. The IT Administrator will also coordinate with external vendors and internal teams for support and resolution of IT incidents. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and managing IT issues, ensuring that all service calls are responded to and resolved within the agreed service level agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities:
  • IT Support Incident Management:
  • Act as the single point of contact for all IT support-related issues for the organization.
  • Receive IT support calls and ensure timely response and resolution of incidents and service requests as per SLA.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues remotely through phone, email, or remote access.
  • Collaborate with users to understand their IT requirements and provide effective solutions.
  • Provide remote IT support for offices in Mumbai and Bengaluru, ensuring smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
  • Vendor and OEM Management:
  • Coordinate with external vendors OEMs.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and maintenance of service contracts with vendors for various IT services and equipment.
  • IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Manage and maintain the entire IT infrastructure, including servers, networking devices, and user systems.
  • Support the installation, configuration, and setup of new and existing IT equipment (e.g., PCs, printers, network devices, etc.).
  • Provide first-level support for biometric systems, including troubleshooting and escalation if needed.
  • Asset Management:
  • Keep track of IT assets and equipment through effective inventory management.
  • Prepare regular reports on asset status, software license, and equipment lifecycle management.
  • Maintain record of fixed assets timely insurance of the same
  • Asset allocation tagging of assets.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience:
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in IT administration, including infrastructure management and user support.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of server management, networking, hardware installation, and IT equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.), networking devices, and peripheral hardware.
  • Experience in biometric system support is a plus.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Experience in liaising with vendors and external support services for timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Problem-Solving:
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Asset Management:
  • Ability to manage and report on IT assets effectively.

Educational Qualifications:
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
Other Skills:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
