Automation Tester - Appium/Cypress (5-6 yrs)

Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases for software products

- Execute manual and automated tests to ensure the quality and stability of software applications

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases based on business requirements

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks

- Analyze test results and communicate findings to stakeholders, including developers, product managers, and other team members

- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives

- Mentor junior QA team members and provide guidance on testing best practices and methodologies

- Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on web and mobile applications

- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes

- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript

- Hands-on experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- ISTQB or similar certification is a plus
