Job Description
- Lead the ISO26262 Functional Safety assessments for the Software products
- Manage Technical Peer Reviews on project upon request from BL / PL Safety Manager.
- Support System Safety Solution development: System and Software safety concept including requirement, architecture and Safety analysis (Data flow; critical flow, SW FMEA)
- Drive cutting-edge innovation topics - influence future SOC / IC designs -
- Maintain / Enhance the Safety Culture within the company - Evangelize the Functional Safety approach across organizational boundaries and with management.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required
- Demonstrated technical leadership, capacity of influencing, convincing
- Comfortable working with the ambiguity inherent in implementing new technologies, complex Functional Safety products
- Proven ability to enroll technical and business stakeholders, including internal engineering teams and customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills spanning technical contributors, business stakeholders, customers, and executive management.
- An intimate knowledge of ISO-26262 (IEC61508 would be a plus)
- 5+ years developing System / Software Safety products for Automotive (architecting, designing, coding, static analysis (ie MISRA, ASPICE)
- Experience in a requirements driven process
- Knowledge of SW testing methodologies
- Good understanding of the responsibility share between supplier and OEM when it comes to product safety
- Recognized as a technical leader in his/her previous experiences
- Desirable: Safety analyses (FTA, SW FMEA, DFA)
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science with 7 years of industry experience.
