Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Ensure safer operation of steam boiler & Thermic fluid boiler all the time.
- Always ensure to maintain fire wood stock.
- Ensuring feed water quantity & quality for trouble free operation of boilers.
- Monitoring the performance of boiler and ensuring optimum performance.
- Periodical maintenance of boilers.
- Monitor the water Plant Operation closely to ensure that all operational and quality parameters are within limit.
- Monitoring the electrical energy/fire wood consumption.
- Raising indent (Purchase Requisition Slip) for boiler critical spares and consumables and carry out inspection.
- Issue the boiler consumables through Material Requisition Slip from engineering stores on requirements basis.
- Coordination with the boiler inspector during annual boiler inspection.
- To ensure that a clean, tidy and hazard-free working environment is maintained.
- Report to Engineering Head on status of plant equipment breakdowns.
- Authorized for verification and signing of internal documents.
Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 1st Class / 2nd Class Boiler License
- Willing to join within 1 month
