Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of all electrical systems, including:
- HT/LT switchgear
- Transformers
- Motors
- Generators
- Circuit breakers and relays
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance:
- Scheduling and executing routine maintenance
- Condition monitoring of equipment (vibration, IR value, etc.)
- Troubleshooting & Fault Analysis:
- Diagnosing breakdowns
- Rectifying electrical faults quickly to reduce downtime
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant codes (e.g., IE Rules)
- Adhering to safety protocols and standards (PTW, LOTO, arc flash protection, etc.)
- Supervision & Documentation:
- Supervising contractors and technicians
- Maintaining logs, reports, and documentation for audits and inspections
Preferred candidate profile
🎓 Diploma / B.E in Electrical or Instrumentation
🧰 Experience: Min. 5 years in Power Plant E&I Activities
⚡ License: Valid Wireman / B / C / Supervisory License from any state Mandatory
