Business Central Developer - MS Dynamics Platform (5-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and implement Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions using AL (Application Language), C/AL, and extensions.

- Design and create custom tables, forms, codeunits, reports, and other Business Central objects.

- Modify existing Business Central functionalities to meet specific business requirements.

- Develop and implement integrations between Business Central and other systems using APIs (REST, SOAP, OData), web services, and other integration tools.

- Integrate Business Central with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).

- Connect Business Central with third-party applications and services.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and design documents.

- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions, customizations, and integrations.

- Participate in testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Assist with the deployment of Business Central solutions and customizations.

- Identify and resolve performance issues within Business Central.

- Debug and troubleshoot technical problems.

- Optimize code for efficiency and scalability.

- Work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and clients to understand requirements and provide technical expertise.

- Participate in team meetings and contribute to solution design.

- Keep abreast of the latest updates, features, and best practices related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related technologies.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- 5 to 8 years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or Dynamics NAV).

- Proven experience in developing and implementing customizations and extensions using AL.

- Experience with C/AL and C/SIDE development is a plus.

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in AL programming language.

- Good understanding of C/AL and C/SIDE development environment (if applicable).

- Experience with developing and consuming web services (REST, SOAP, OData).

- Familiarity with SQL Server and database concepts.

- Experience with developing reports using RDLC.

- Understanding of integration patterns and technologies.

- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).

- Knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based integrations.

- Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications.
