Salesforce CRM Developer - Apex/Visual Force (6-8 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce development tools.

- Customize and configure Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and security settings.

- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using APIs (REST, SOAP).

- Build and deploy custom applications on the Salesforce AppExchange.

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.

- Integrate Java applications with Salesforce using Salesforce APIs and connectors.

- Develop backend logic, RESTful APIs, and data processing components in Java.

- Utilize Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.

- Design and implement seamless data exchange and process integration between Java applications and Salesforce CRM.

- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.

- Understand different integration patterns and choose the appropriate approach based on requirements.

- Work closely with business analysts, project managers, Salesforce administrators, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Participate in technical design discussions and provide valuable insights.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Write unit tests, integration tests, and perform thorough testing of both Java and Salesforce components and integrations.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

- Participate in the deployment of Java and Salesforce applications.

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for developed solutions.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce and Java technologies and best practices.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- 6 years of professional experience in software development.

- Proven experience in developing applications with Java.

- Solid experience working with Salesforce CRM, including Apex development, Visualforce/LWC, and data modeling.

- Demonstrated experience in integrating Java applications with Salesforce using APIs.

Technical Skills :

- Java: Strong proficiency in Core Java, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming principles.

- Salesforce: Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.

- Salesforce Development: Proficient in Apex programming, Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Salesforce Object Search Language (SOSL).

- Frontend (Salesforce): Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and/or Visualforce.

- Web Services/APIs: Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services and experience with API integration.

- Database: Familiarity with relational databases and SQL. Knowledge of Salesforce SOQL/SOSL.

- Version Control: Proficient with Git.

- Build Tools (Java): Experience with Maven or Gradle.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Salesforce Developer certifications (Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II).
- Experience with Salesforce Integration Patterns.
- Experience with Java frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Salesforce DX.
