Job Title: DTP Operator

Key Responsibilities:

1. Desktop Publishing (DTP):
• Utilize desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe InDesign) to create layouts, format text, and manipulate images for various print and digital materials.
• Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines and specifications provided by clients or internal stakeholders.

2. Typesetting and Formatting:

• Typeset and format text, graphics, and images according to project requirements, ensuring readability and visual appeal.
• Adjust layouts and designs as necessary based on feedback from clients or project managers.

3. Image Editing and Enhancement:

• Edit and enhance images to improve quality, clarity, and aesthetics.
• Crop, resize, retouch, and apply color corrections as needed to achieve desired results.

4. Proofreading and Quality Control:

• Conduct thorough proofreading of content to identify and correct errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting.
• Maintain high-quality standards and ensure accuracy in all design elements.

5. File Management:

• Organize and manage files, including source documents, images, and project files, in a structured and easily accessible manner.
• Archive completed projects and maintain an organized digital library of assets.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, graphic designers, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliverables.
• Communicate effectively to clarify instructions, provide updates on project progress, and address any issues or concerns.

Key Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a DTP Operator or similar role, with 3-6 years of experience in desktop publishing and graphic design.
3. Strong knowledge of typography, layout, and design principles.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in typesetting, formatting, and proofreading.
5. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
