Network Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting enterprise network systems, Windows server environments, firewall configurations, and virtualization infrastructure. You will ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability across our IT landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Network & Security Management:

• Administer and support L2/L3 network infrastructure including switches, routers, and wireless systems.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot firewalls (SonicWall, Sophos).
• Monitor network traffic, performance, and security to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain VPNs, VLANs, and other network segmentation strategies.

Windows Server Administration:

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Handle replication, backup, and recovery operations.
• Ensure timely patching, updates, and system hardening.

Virtualization & Backup:

• Administer VMware infrastructure including vCenter and ESXi hosts.
• Manage virtual machines lifecycle, resource allocation, and performance tuning.
• Configure and monitor Veeam Backup & Replication solutions for disaster recovery and business continuity.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in network and systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of firewall configuration (SonicWall, Sophos).
• Proficient in Windows Server environments and AD management.
• Solid experience in VMware and Veeam backup tools.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices is a plus.
• Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, VCP, or similar are preferred.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to work off-hours during upgrades or emergencies.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time.
• Occasional on-call support or off-hours work required.
