Job Summary :
The Junior Salesforce Developer is responsible for implementing complex development requirements using the agile methodology in any of the Owens and Minor Salesforce orgs.
This person will work directly under the guidance of a senior developer.
Qualifying Experience :
- Customize Salesforce functionality through declarative tools such as Process Builder, Workflow Rules, Flows, and Validation Rules.
- Coordinate and manage Salesforce deployments, including sandbox refreshes, code merges, and production deployments.
- Design, develop, and implement customized solutions using Salesforce platform.
- Create custom objects, fields, workflows, validation, rules and trigger.
- Design and implement custom solutions using Lightning Web Components which cannot be implemented with salesforce out of the box functionality.
- Expertise on salesforce sales cloud, service cloud, experience cloud.
- Integration expert to integrate salesforce with ERP, Non ERP systems or cloud application, using SOAP, REST API's.
- Thorough understanding of salesforce security, data model, and sharing settings.
- Extensive understanding of OO design, design patterns, data modeling.
- Good understanding of the Salesforce platform and governor limits.
- Well versed with salesforce solution capability to design a solution i.e build vs using app exchange.
- 3+ years of salesforce experience having 3+ plus salesforce certifications including certifications towards the Application and System Architect certification.
Core Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement customized solutions using the Salesforce platforms specifically Service Cloud and Sales Cloud.
- This includes creating custom objects, fields, workflows, Flows, approval process, validation rules, triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning Web Components, and Apex classes.
- Collaborate with architects, administrators, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Participate in the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions.
- Analyze complex business requirements and propose innovative solutions that align with best practices and platform capabilities.
- Customize Salesforce functionality through declarative tools such as Process Builder, Workflow Rules, Flows, and Validation Rules.
- Configure Salesforce features and settings to meet business requirements.
- Coordinate and manage Salesforce deployments, including sandbox refreshes, code merges, and production deployments.
- Ensure a smooth transition and minimal disruption during release cycles.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, tools, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation to drive efficiency and enhance the Salesforce platform.
- Designing and documenting a flexible, scalable, and robust state-of-the-art architecture for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, E-commerce, and Partner systems using Salesforce Architecture Designer.
- Understanding the goals of stakeholders in Marketing and SDR/BDR teams and scoping the technical elements within Salesforce needed to achieve the project goal.
- This may involve configuring multiple flows spanning different objects.
- Evaluating the scalability of proposed configuration changes to ensure they can handle future growth and changing business needs.
- Providing advanced support for Salesforce requests and escalated administrative needs of users, which can include managing Epics (large bodies of work that can be broken down into smaller items), Tasks, Spikes (temporary work items to explore unknowns), Stories, and Bugs using the Salesforce Agile Accelerator.
- Overseeing Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for large deployments using the Salesforce Testing Framework.
- Keeping up to date with Salesforce releases, features, and best practices and making recommendations to management regarding their implementation.
- Understand business data needs, setup necessary integrations with third party systems using SOAP/REST API's.
- Design scalable integrations using integration design patterns (Request-reply, fire-forget) outbound message or platform events.
- Setup and manage salesforce command line batch jobs where traditional integration approach doesn't work.
- Setup/customize integrations with external cloud systems such as Marketo, Qliksense, New Voice Media, Showpad.
- Guide third party vendor teams with salesforce data structure for smooth data flows.
- Design and execute larger and complex data migration using salesforce data loader, Cast Iron, workbench.
- Extensive data knowledge to help business for easy data cleanup, eliminates duplicate and perform data migration.
- Work with CTI teams and setup Omni channel, call center, salesforce telephony integrations, integration with Vonage to load agent and call summary data in salesforce for advance reporting and analytics.
- Design simple/easy to use solutions to convert SharePoint, excel base documents application into salesforce with highest user adoptions.
- Drives salesforce adoption, single 360 degree view for management.
- Design mobile friendly solutions such a way that field service reps can easily use salesforce while doing their job at onsite.
- Implement innovative solutions e.g spam case cleanup, order cases prioritization, easy alert notifications for customer service requests to improve case closure efficiency.
- Design quick and effective solutions using roll up helper, Lookup helper, file manager, Ownbackup etc. AppExchange applications.
- Design data seeding and masking templates using Own backup.
- Schedule data, file backup.
- Perform data masking for sandbox environments.
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills for business issues/requirements.
