Operations Head (Appliances)
Leading and overseeing the company's operational functions, ensuring efficiency, and achieving strategic goals and operational expertise across various areas like manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics. You will report to senior management and collaborate with other departments to optimize performance and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Optimize processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to improve efficiency and productivity across all operational areas.
- Oversee manufacturing operations, ensuring quality control, cost management, and timely production.
- Manage the entire supply chain, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation activities, optimizing routes, and managing costs related to product movement.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead and motivate the operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), track operational performance, and implement corrective actions to address deviations.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement quality control measures across all operational processes.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and achieve company-wide goals.
- Identify potential operational risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards in all operational activities.
Qualification And Experience:
1. BE in engineering with 20+ years of experience in operations management preferably in the manufacturing of Appliances industry.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
4. In-depth knowledge of the homeware industry and its operational challenges.
5. Experience in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control.
6. Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
7. Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams.
8. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
9. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
10. Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, supply chain management software).
