Contracts Engineer For Reputed OIL & GAS company in Nigeria

Role & responsibilities

Additional Roles & Responsibilities

1. Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring they meet organizational standards and project requirements. Ensure effective contract administration.

2. Compliances: Prepare approval Notes and other Documentations as per processes under Joint Ventures and other Business Partnership arrangements. Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Stakeholder Liaison: Liaison with external agencies for approval processes. Collaborate with project managers, legal teams, and other internal stakeholders to address contract-related inquiries and concerns.

4. Reporting: Prepare and present reports on contract status, compliance, and performance of metrics to management. Support the evaluation of Specific Instructions for Recruiters contract performance by gathering relevant data, conducting analysis, and preparing reports.

5. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of all contracts and amendments, ensuring they are easily accessible and organized in Physical and online format.

6. Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and issues within contracts and develop mitigation strategies.

7. Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing contracts and processes, recommending improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Stay updated on industry best practices, legal developments, and regulatory changes related to contract management.

8. Additional Responsibilities: Support project management Activities, and assist in various activities related to project Budgeting and Cost Analysis. Additional Skills

1. Proven experience as a Contracts /Tender Engineer or a similar role, preferably in a relevant industry such as construction, engineering, oil and gas, or manufacturing.

2. Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

3. Understanding of contract law, commercial terms and conditions.

4. Good analytical skills with the ability to assess contractual issues.

5. Attention to detail and good organizational skills to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.

6. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

7. Ability to work independently and make sound decisions while considering the broader business objectives.

8. Proficient in English language. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.

9. Ethical conduct and commitment to maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information

Preferred candidate profile

Experience : 2 to 5 years Any BE /BE. TECH

Salary : Handsome salary In US Dollors $

Working Terms:

• Time off Rotation will be 6 Month working and 30 Days paid off & subsequently followed by every 6-month ones (Both to and from International & Domestic travel tickets provided by company.
• Workdays & Hours Six and half days work, (Monday to Friday 8:30AM to 6:30PM / Saturday 9:00AM to 6:30PM / Sunday 9:00AM to 2:30PM)
• First salary will be released after 60 Days followed by the salary cycle ( Ex: If you joined in April, you will get first month salary on June then after that every month you will get regularly)
