Job description:

• Develop and review piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and general arrangement drawings.
• Prepare and review piping material specifications, requisitions, and data sheets.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, electrical, etc.) to ensure integrated designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI, etc.).
• Participate in design reviews, HAZOP studies, and other safety assessments.
• Manage and resolve technical issues that arise during project execution.
• Prepare project documentation, including reports, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing vendor proposals and technical bid evaluations.
• Ensure that all piping engineering work is executed in accordance with project schedules and budgets.
• Supervise and coordinate the construction and installation of piping systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, verify compliance with design and safety

standards, and address any issues that arise.

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for piping construction issues.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and risk management activities.
• Prepare and review construction documentation, including progress reports, inspection reports, and change orders.
• Conduct quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure the integrity and safety of piping systems.
• Manage and resolve construction-related technical issues and challenges.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and construction personnel.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and policies.

Preparation of piping BOQ (MTO),Valve MTO

Preparation/Review of Inch-Dia, Inch-Meter

Piping Calculations, Pipe Wall thickness & PT Rating selection etc

Preparation of Equipment Layout, Piping Layout, Conceptual Layout, Plot plan based on BFD, PFD, P&id

Strong understanding of Engineering principles and practices of Piping systems including layouts and design

Piping installation and maintenance

Pipe stress Analysis

Hydraulic Analysis

We are currently looking out for a Engineer-Piping Construction for our PADAH LNG FZE project in Nigeria (West Africa) unit,

• Presently, we have crude oil exploration with a capacity of 1,20,000 barrels a day and Gas processing plant of 130mmcf. We have our own jetty and shipping operations.

Our General Employment Terms

• Appointment status Single (NO family status provided)
• Accommodation status Shared Accommodation / Free & furnished accommodation.
• Leave travel – Six months work & 30 days paid leave (30 days leave after six months work). 21 days paid leave (21 days leave after six months work if posted in office)
• Travel & Ticketing cost – borne by company.
• Local allowance - Naira 65,000 (around USD 40) per month to manage the local expenses (over and above the salary package)
• Transport – provided by company.
• Food – All three meals are provided on company’s cost (Free food - A large canteen with Indian cuisine & continental dishes)
• Workdays & Hours – Six and half day’s work (Monday to Friday – 8.00AM to 6.00PM / Saturday – 8.30AM to 6.00PM / Sunday – 8..30AM to 2.00PM)
• Medical Insurance – Up to INR 3 Lakhs for self & direct family
• Work support accessories – Laptop, Mobile Handset & SIM provided by company & monthly recharge is done by company.
• Natural Oil Field Services is a group of companies and as per the Nigeria labour law, we have a limited quota for expats. As we are multi-companies’ group, we have a limited expat quota available on each company. Therefore, wherever the quota is available, basis that we issue the appointment letter to the candidate on behalf of that company.
• Disclaimer : Once your Joining Formalities are complete, we process your documents for account opening and salary processing. However, just so you know, your first salary processing happens basis the intimation to the bank after you join and the currency availability, which on an average takes 60 days. Once your first salary is credited, your subsequent salary are credited between (25th to 31st ) of that month.
