JOB OVERVIEW: As Chief Manager- Distribution the incumbent will be responsible for all India CFA & Hub operations, inventory handling & storage, customer service and support & distribution cost while ensuring compliance of statutory and internal processes. The position will also spearhead the team looking after Ecom B2B and D2C fulfillment
KEY STAKEHOLDERS: INTERNAL
Supply Chain (Procurement, Planning & distribution, Regional Distribution Managers ,Ecom fulfilment manager , Logistics manager), Sales, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, Finance & Commercial, HO Insurance, HO Taxation, GBSS, Operational Excellence Team.

KEY STAKEHOLDERS: EXTERNAL
CFA & Hub Operators, Primary & Secondary Logistics vendors
REPORTING STRUCTURE:
Will report to - Supply Chain Head
Team size - Team of 4 Regional Distribution Managers, 1 Ecom Fulfilment Manager & 1 Logistics Manager
QUALIFICATION:
Graduate + Full time MBA / PGDBM in SCM from reputed Business School
EXPERIENCE:
• 9 to 12 years of FMCG Supply chain experience, ideally, cross-functional with 5+ years of experience as a Team Manager
• Of which, 3-5 years in managing CFA operations, Primary and Secondary Transportation with
involvement/exposure to Demand and/or Distribution Planning
• Experience of handling Ecommerce fulfilment centers (B2B and D2C)
Skills:
• Analytical & Critical thinking ability
• Leadership skills and End to End process ownership
• People management skills
• SAP understanding

Key Roles/Responsibilities:
The position will be responsible for-
Strategic Initiatives
o Alignment of distribution deliverables in line with business requirement
o Implementation & smooth roll-out of new product launches/brand acquisitions
o Review and Rationalize Facilities and Assets, Setting-up of new warehouses as per business plans, deployment of Team and entire project management
o Evaluate and review the Logistics operation practices, update and develop process
documentations, streamline opportunities and eliminate non-value added activities.
Driving Efficient & Cost Effective operations
o Responsible for All India CFA/ Hub Operations and Primary Logistics. Manage cost effective Ecom operations (Vendor flex, Seller flex and Internal D2C)
o Drive departmental KPIs. Review and manage supply chain cost and expenses to identify cost
saving opportunities and identify efficiencies and economies of scale to reduce costs
o Negotiate and finalize contracts of freight rates for Secondary distribution.
o Conduct periodic review of CFA operations, documentations, audit reports to identify gaps and
improvement opportunities.
o Ensure inventory accuracy at CFA, periodic stock counts and implement SOPs for CFAs
o Optimize Inventory turns, minimize excess & obsolete inventory through product life cycle
management, monitor slow and non-moving stocks at CFAs and avoid probable write-offs due to
expiry of products
Customer Service & Relationship management
o Responsible for On-Time & In-Full sales order processing and dispatches
o Close co-ordination with Distribution/Demand Planners, Sales & Marketing team, Hubs and 3P
Logistics providers to support business objectives.
o Regular monitoring of Customer query/complaints related to CFA operations, Sales return, credit
note processing to ensure high service levels in compliance with company policies.
Statutory & Internal Compliance
o Compliance to company policies, FDA, Food regulations
o Ensure Good Warehouse Practices (GWP) and compliance as per company's Corporate Quality
Procedures (CQP) & other local regulatory requirements at all CFAs
People Management & Development
o Develop the team to handle the regional operations in a matured and independent manner
o Motivate the CFA team members for effectiveness in customer service delivery through
training/meeting initiatives
