General Manager - Production

• Responsible for CDMO products manufacturing and on time delivery as per commitments starting from Raw material requirements, reviewing production progress till dispatch. 
• Ensure smooth production under EHS & cGMP compliance.
• To ensure all CDMO product related queries/complains received from external and internal customers are addressed by the team.
• Ensure timely response on customer Audits /queries through coordination among cross functional teams (R&D, Analytical, QA, Process engineering, manufacturing and SCM) in a strong matrix environment.
• Ensure process problem/deviations are solved and rectified within a set of time frame, co-ordination/follow up with all the departments like Production, QC, QA, E&M & Stores.
• Well versed on Quality systems, document management, audit readiness, safety management.
• Institute operational controls, monitor the key characteristics, carry out root cause analysis for the Non conformity and take CAPA.
• Discussion of new RFP process and decision making on go ahead or not.
• Review of the RFP batch plan, Capex, facility allocation and costing .
• Develops and manages strong relationship with clients and internal customers.
• Managing key accounts, and customer engagement for new business opportunity
• Provide clear communication to all the stockholders for overall project scope, deliverable, timelines, resource needs and cost of the project.
• Keeps all process related matters highly confidential.
• Identification of Risks & Hazards, Environmental aspects & evaluation and review the same.
• Ensure compliance of legal and other requirements related to ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999.
• Ensure optimum utilization of manpower and resources. Improvement of manpower efficiency with the help of HR & Administration.
• Prepare the gaps in training of personnel and ensure proper training is imparted to bridge the gaps.
• Ensure audit readiness at all times.
• Escalation any gaps between procedures and practices to ensure they are addressed properly.
• Connect with Process Engineering, R&D and Operational Excellence team to improve Yield, Solvent Recovery, Batch Cycle and output per person.
• To encourage the site team for improvement of productions efficiencies and unlocking/release the capacities for

existing as well as upcoming business growth.

• GMP review with respective production managers and other stake holders.
• Review of upcoming projects with CFTs (Production, EHS, PM, QA, Projects, PE) and ensure proper concept design, Capex, basic engineering and necessary execution support are in place for smooth running of production operations to meet business target.nce of legal and other requirements related to ISO14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:1999.
