Job Description
- Maintain accurate records of engineering supplies and equipment.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Assist in sourcing and purchasing engineering materials as per departmental requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials.
- Organize and oversee the storage of materials to optimize space and accessibility.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the store.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports and procurement documents.
- Document all transactions accurately for accountability.
- Liaise with engineering teams to understand their needs and provide necessary materials.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve store processes and efficiency.
- Provide support during audits and inspections.
- Assist in training new staff on store procedures and policies.
- Bachelors / Diplomas degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 4 - 8 years of experience in inventory management or store operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sector.
- Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in material handling.
