Job Title : Senior Project Manager
Experience Level : 8+ Years
Job Summary :
The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to completion. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in delivering projects on time, within scope, and on budget. The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, mitigating risks, and ensuring that all objectives align with business goals.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
PSM / PMP / Prince2 / SAFe / Agile certification - any one of the certifications is a must.
Experience :
- 8+ years of project management experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior project management role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale, complex projects across multiple industries.
Skills :
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana, etc.).
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning & Execution :
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline key tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Team Leadership :
- Lead cross-functional project teams, ensuring collaboration, effective communication, and alignment with project goals.
- Provide guidance and direction to team members, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Mentor and coach junior project managers or team members as needed.
Stakeholder Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication on project status, milestones, risks, and issues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Risk & Issue Management :
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Proactively resolve issues that may arise during the project to ensure minimal disruption and maintain project timelines.
Resource & Budget Management :
- Allocate and manage project resources efficiently, ensuring optimal utilization of team members and third-party contractors.
- Monitor project budget and expenditures, ensuring cost efficiency and reporting any variances to management.
Project Monitoring & Reporting :
- Track project progress, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
- Regularly report on project performance, KPIs, and key deliverables to senior management and stakeholders.
- Prepare post-project evaluation reports to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Process Improvement :
- Continuously assess and improve project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for project management within the organization.
