IAM Engineer

Key responsibilities of the IAM Engineer role include:

1. Designing and implementing IAM solutions to manage user identities, access rights, and security policies across our organization's systems and applications.

2. Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and guidelines for access control and identity management.

3. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess and address security risks and implement appropriate access controls and identity management measures.

4. Monitoring and auditing IAM systems to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.

5. Providing technical support and guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders on IAM-related issues.

6. Participating in the evaluation and selection of IAM technologies and tools to support the company's evolving security needs.

7. Staying current with industry trends and best practices in IAM and contributing to the continuous improvement of the company's security infrastructure.

Ideal candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications and skills:

1.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

2.At least 3 years of experience in IAM engineering or a related role in the IT security field.

3. In-depth knowledge of IAM concepts, protocols, and technologies such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, and multi-factor authentication.

4. Hands-on experience with IAM solutions such as Okta, Microsoft Azure AD, AWS IAM, or similar platforms.

5. Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscape, and risk management techniques.

6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

7. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
