DevOps Engineer III - Docker/Kubernetes (5-7 yrs)

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement DevOps strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring seamless integration of development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of cloud infrastructure, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.
• Automation: Drive automation initiatives to streamline repetitive tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual errors across development and operations workflows.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery, enabling faster release cycles and rapid iteration.
• Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Establish monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues, optimize performance, and ensure high availability of applications and services.
• Security and Compliance: Collaborate with security teams to implement robust security measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaboration: Foster strong collaboration and communication between development, operations, and other cross-functional teams to promote transparency, accountability, and shared ownership of project outcomes.
• Tooling and Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in DevOps and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance development and operations workflows.

• Must have at least 4 years of experience in managing AWS resources and automating CI/CD pipelines required.
• Good to have AWS Solutions Architect Associate Certification.
• Good understanding of VPC, EC2 RDS, Route53 IAM, Lambda, Security Groups, AutoScaling, Load Balancers and a lot of other AWS concepts.
• Must be able to build and administer CI/CD. Exposure to application monitoring and alerting Git and Bit Bucket Management Backup and Archive of Large Datasets.
• Knowledge of VPN and Troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of infrastructure tools: Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible.
• Experience with deployment, release management and Jenkins Management.
• Experience using containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos or Vagrant(good to have).
• Experience with Jira and Bit Bucket (good to have).
• Knowledge of ELK(good to have).

• Identifying and optimizing performance bottlenecks in applications and infrastructure through techniques such as code optimization, caching, and load balancing to enhance user experience and scalability.
• Good to have certification of AWS.
