Position: New Product Development (Electronics) Lead (Software Architect)

Reporting to: Head of Product Development & Commercialization. (In future to Global Research & New Product Development Director)

Business Division: Printed Electronics (Future Technologies)

Location: Pune

Scope: 2 Facilities in India (Pune & Vasai, Mumbai)

- Seeking for a highly experienced New Product Development Lead to drive the ideation, development, and commercialization of groundbreaking products in the rapidly growing field of printed electronics.

- This incumbent will play a critical role in shaping the software architecture for a wide range of automotive electronic systems, including sensors, displays, and control systems. This position involves high-level decision-making, strategic planning, and a deep technical understanding of software development and systems integration.

Key Expectation:

- Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to understand system requirements and deliver comprehensive architectural solutions.

- Lead the development team through the software design process, providing expertise in coding, tools, and platforms.

- Define and develop the software architecture for automotive electronics products, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools for application architecture.

- Oversee the development of prototypes and proof-of-concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions.

- Maintain and update architecture documents and design specifications.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software architecture and security.

- Mentor and provide technical guidance to developers and engineers.

- Stay current on the latest advancements in printed electronics technologies, materials, and fabrication techniques.

- Generate creative product ideas aligned with market trends and company strategy, fostering a culture of innovation within your team.

- Develop and manage the entire new product development process.

- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to bring new printed electronics products to market successfully.

- The incumbent is responsible for leading the organization in research for new products, product enhancements and product redesign.

- The incumbent would evaluate the potential and practicality of products in development and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
