Job Description
- Take charge of overseeing all operational aspects within the designated district, ensuring the smooth execution of initiatives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to Young Leaders (YLs) and team members, offering guidance and support in their development.
- Enhance the capacity of both the team and government/community stakeholders through training and skill-building initiatives.
- Lead collaborative efforts with partners and government officials in co-creating education change programs, fostering inclusive decision-making processes.
- Foster strategic partnerships with a diverse range of organizations, government agencies, academic institutions, and local funders to support and enhance educational initiatives.
- Bachelors/Master s degree in statistics, economics, social sciences, or a related field.
- Previous experience of minimum 4 years, working in a similar role, preferably in the development sector with a focus on education.
- Understanding of learning process in a classroom and governance system of education in India
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Have a solid grasp of basic technical skills, including proficiency in using applications like Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and various Google tools, crucial for successful program management.
- Knowledge of Punjabi (Read and Write) is preferred.
- Demonstrate a firm commitment to advancing the goal of ensuring quality education for all children.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with diverse audiences and facilitate collaboration.
- Show eagerness for continuous learning, research, and innovation to drive ongoing improvement and development.
- Excel in navigating ambiguity and complexity with confidence, adapting flexibly to evolving situations.
- Display strong self-motivation and time management skills, adept at managing ones workload and responsibilities effectively.
- Demonstrate robust leadership, managerial, and data analysis capabilities to drive results and make informed decisions.
