SaveLIFE Foundation (SLF) is an award-winning, independent non-profit organization committed to saving lives on roads across India and the Global South. By combining grassroots action with systems reform, SLF has been at the forefront of introducing landmark road safety innovations such as Indias Good Samaritan Law and the Zero Fatality Corridor (ZFC) model. Our work has helped reduce road crash deaths by up to 67% on some of Indias most dangerous highways and has been recognized by institutions such as the Skoll Foundation, World Bank, and Government of India.

Role and Responsibilities:
As the Director, Partnerships for SaveLIFE Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing and growing our portfolio of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and institutional funding partnerships while building new ones. This entails:
Strategic Partnership Development:
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships to advance SLFs mission and goals.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, corporations, foundations, and international organizations.
- Lead the negotiation and execution of partnership agreements, ensuring alignment with SLFs strategic objectives.
Resource Mobilization:
- Develop strategies for acquisition as well as retention of donors through targeted engagement and relationship building.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure financial and in-kind support from diverse sources.
- Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and reports for donors and partners.
- Monitor and manage grant and funding agreements, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and effective utilization of resources.
Forecasting and Planning:
- Provide inputs on future trends based on strategic forecasting and planning considering the challenges and organizations long-term objectives.
- Ensure regular updates to senior management team on new insights and emerging opportunities.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Represent SLF at high-level meetings, conferences, and events to advocate for road safety and emergency care initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including policymakers, industry leaders, and community organizations.
- Collaborate with SLFs communication team to develop and disseminate impactful communication materials for stakeholder engagement.
Program Support and Management:
- Work closely with program teams to identify partnership opportunities that support programmatic goals and enhance impact.
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight to ensure effective implementation of partnership initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate partnership outcomes, reporting on key metrics and making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor the partnerships team, fostering a collaborative and high- performance culture.
- Develop and implement professional development plans to enhance team capabilities and performance.
- Ensure alignment of team activities with SLFs strategic priorities and organizational values.
Professional Experience:
- Strong writing, research, editing, and communication abilities.
- Overall 10+ years of experience with appropriate qualifications. At least 5 years of experience in strategic partnerships, cause marketing, and fundraising.
- Exceptional networking, sales, and business development skills.
- A proven track record of solving problems, negotiating with partners, and securing substantial gifts.
- In-depth understanding of the institutional and CSR funding community.
- The ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- A passion for creativity and a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends by continuously learning new ways of doing things.
