Cctv Operator

The CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring and managing surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of the premises, employees, and guests. The role involves observing suspicious activities, reporting incidents, and assisting in investigations using the recorded footage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Surveillance Monitoring

• Operate and monitor all CCTV equipment, cameras, and systems.
• Conduct regular checks of all surveillance equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Continuously observe the premises to identify unusual or suspicious activities.

2. Incident Management

• Respond promptly to alarms or suspicious activities observed on CCTV.
• Report security incidents to the Security Supervisor or relevant authorities.
• Assist in the investigation of incidents by providing accurate footage or reports.

3. Compliance and Record Maintenance

• Ensure all surveillance activities are in compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Maintain logs of surveillance activities, incidents, and equipment performance.
• Archive and retrieve CCTV footage as per company policies or investigative requirements.

4. Coordination with Security Team

• Communicate effectively with on-ground security personnel during incidents.
• Provide real-time information to assist security teams in responding to situations.
• Support emergency response procedures by relaying critical information.

5. Equipment Maintenance

• Regularly inspect and maintain CCTV systems to avoid downtime.
• Report any technical issues to the IT or maintenance department for resolution.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating CCTV systems and related software.
• Understanding of security protocols and emergency procedures.
