About the Job :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Developer to join our team for a long-term remote opportunity. This role is focused on development, requiring a strong understanding of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and Salesforce platform architecture. The ideal candidate will be a developer, not an administrator, and possess a Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (with additional certifications preferred). You will collaborate with architects and other developers to build custom Salesforce solutions, participate in the full development lifecycle, and contribute to the growth of our Salesforce development capabilities.

Responsibilities :

Salesforce Development :

- Develop custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components.

- Execute declarative Salesforce application configurations as needed.

- Build and maintain integrations with external systems.

- Develop new native products and extensions on the Salesforce platform.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Solution Design and Implementation :

- Collaborate with architects and other developers to gather requirements and document solution designs.

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Participate in the full application lifecycle, from technical design to development, testing, and deployment.

- Ensure successful project go-lives through disciplined project management.

Mentorship and Growth :

- Mentor and guide junior Salesforce developers.

- Contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce technologies and trends.

Communication and Collaboration :

- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

- Provide regular updates on project progress and issues.

Specific Duties :

- Execute declarative Salesforce application configurations.

- Use Apex and Visualforce to create unique customer-based solutions.

- Ability to mentor and grow other Salesforce developers.

- Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment.

- Build Salesforce.com product extensions using Lightning, Visualforce, and other Salesforce UI technologies.

- Develop new native products on the force.com platform.

Desired Skills and Experience :

Essential :

- 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.

- Strong experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components.

- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required.

- Strong technical design and coding skills.

- Experience with Salesforce integrations.

- Development experience with JavaScript, HTML language.

Preferred :

- Salesforce App Builder and JavaScript Developer I certifications.

- Development experience with JSP/ASP.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies.

General :
