Responsibilities.
- Strategic Sales & Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with the overall business goals and objectives.
- Wholesaler Management & Engagement: Build, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with our network of wholesalers, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and mutual success.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Strategy: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Leverage this knowledge to recommend and implement optimized sales strategies that maximize our market share.
- Channel Optimization: Design and implement efficient systems and processes to optimally manage our distribution channels, ensuring effective reach, penetration, and performance.
- Sales Strategy Development: Proactively recommend and implement new and innovative sales strategies based on market insights and our competitive strengths to drive revenue growth and market leadership.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales and marketing activities, track performance diligently, and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other departments, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving business goals.
- Team Leadership & Development: Include if this role involves direct team management] Lead, mentor, and develop the sales and marketing teams to achieve their full potential and contribute effectively to the company's success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is highly preferred.
- Total experience of 15+ years in sales and marketing roles with increasing responsibility.
- Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience specifically within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), Ayurveda, or Pharmaceuticals industry.
- Deep understanding of the market dynamics, distribution channels, and regulatory landscape within the relevant industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective sales strategies that have resulted in significant market share growth.
- Proven experience in managing and engaging with wholesalers or similar distribution partners.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities (if applicable).
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
