Job Description
- Withinyour area of responsibility and the assigned countries you are the responsiblecontact for all plants and locations within the assigned countries forInnomotics in the area of ECC (Export Control and Customs).
- You arethe responsible contact person for communication with authorities, audits orchecks through the authorities of your home/main country and you support thelocal ECC contacts in the other assigned countries in such activities.
- Evaluate,establish and/or manage export control or customs third-party providers inhome/main country and provide guidance on third-party providers in responsiblecountries (e.g. Customs Brokers or external consultants).
- You willevaluate and implement processes for to support regulatory requirementsassociated with duty minimizing programs.
- Act asfunctional support in process designing, you support in the evaluation andsolving of difficult export processes and in the implementation of ECCprocedures and processes.
- You are business consultant and advisor and actas approval responsible (case release) in the case of involvement of listedpartners, countries of concern or specific controlled items.
- Prepareand request export approvals, licenses or certifications at the respectiveauthorities if applicable in close contact and collaboration with ECCrepresentatives of the assigned countries.
- Prepareand drive the different security in the supply chain program certifications(e.g. AEO, C-TPAT, etc.) at the respective authorities and are responsible formaintaining them.
- Verify andapprove contracts together with the Legal & Compliance function with regardto ECC topics.
- Are themain contact and interface to the country s CEOs/CFOs and to the global ECCheadquarters and report regularly to them.
- Establish,support, and have regular communication with ECC representatives of theassigned countries.
- Implement,enforce and control all requirements of the global ICP as well as localrequirements based on national legislation.
- Supportand contribute in ICP design if there are additional ECC specific topics thatneed to be covered in the area of responsibility.
- Analyzeimport and export regulatory changes for impacts and ensure relevant functionaltraining for all impacted employees.
- Evaluate,implement, manage Global Trade Management Tool.
- Developstandard of care for the assignment of trade data elements (harmonized tariffcode, export control classification number, country of origin and preference).
- Support in ERP testing when new IT processeswith ECC relevance are rolled out.
- May be required to provide transactional importor export support as needed.
- University degree (engineering, businessadministration) or equivalent
- Previous experience roles associated withExport Control and Customs
- Experience in working in a multi-culturalcorporate business setting
- Excellent interpersonal and communicationskills, both verbally and in writing
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Advanced knowledge of English (C1), anyadditional language is an advantage
- SAP knowledge is an advantage
