QA Engineer (Manual)

Role & responsibilities

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with a significant portion in a senior or lead role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Extensive experience in designing, developing, and executing various types of testing (functional, non-functional, integration, regression, usability).
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Jmeter).
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Familiarity with security testing principles and tools.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with AWS, API testing and database testing.
