Business Development - Property Acquisition

Job Description:

- We are looking for a dynamic and driven Business Development professional to join our team at Burger King.

- This role focuses on identifying, evaluating, and acquiring high-potential properties to support our aggressive expansion plans across the region.

- The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of real estate, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven network in the commercial property space.

Key Responsibilities:

Property Scouting & Acquisition:

- Identify and evaluate potential sites based on the company's expansion strategy.

- Build and maintain a strong network of brokers, consultants, developers, and landlords.

- Conduct pre-feasibility studies considering location, visibility, accessibility, footfall, and catchment demographics.

Site Evaluation & Negotiation:

- Analyze real estate viability, legal clearances, and commercial potential.

- Prepare and present site feasibility reports to the Regional Business Development Lead.

- Lead negotiations on commercial terms and ensure closure of all deliverables.

Legal & Documentation:

- Coordinate the due diligence process, including title verification, statutory approvals, and compliance checks.

- Ensure timely execution of lease agreements and other legal documentation.

- Maintain updated records and approvals in the document management system.

Project Coordination:

- Collaborate with internal teams and landlords to ensure all pre-construction and post-construction deliverables are met.

- Support restaurant openings through tactical marketing initiatives when required.

Post-Acquisition Support:

- Serve as the point of contact for resolving landlord-related concerns for operational stores.

- Ensure ongoing compliance and smooth relationships with property owners.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field (MBA preferred).

- 3-6 years of experience in property acquisition or business development in retail/QSR space.

- Strong understanding of real estate trends and commercial property laws.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

- Proficient in MS Office and real estate CRM tools.
