About the Role
Were looking for a dynamic and strategic E-Commerce Operations Manager to lead and grow our online business across both marketplace platforms and direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels. This is a high-impact role that blends strategy, operations, digital marketing, and cross-functional collaboration to drive sales, enhance customer experience, and unlock new revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities :
Sales & Growth Strategy
- Develop and execute annual business plans for e-commerce sales across marketplaces and D2C platforms.
- Identify new growth avenues and innovative business models in the online space.
- Drive YoY revenue growth with a customer-centric mindset.
Marketplace & Partner Management
- Build and manage strong relationships with key online partners (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, etc.).
- Negotiate trade terms, handle escalations, and drive joint growth initiatives.
- Align product assortment and promotional plans with partner strategies.
E-Commerce Marketing
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams to launch digital-first campaigns tailored for each channel.
- Approve and track ROI of promotions, discounts, and customer acquisition initiatives.
Operations & Fulfillment
- Oversee listing, stock planning, order management, and seamless partner coordination.
- Optimize processes for better speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure alignment with all legal, commercial, and policy regulations governing e-commerce.
- Conduct periodic audits and implement checks for process and partner compliance.
People & Team Leadership
- Lead with empathy and a growth mindset to inspire high-performing cross-functional teams.
- Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and performance.
What You Bring :
- Proven track record in managing e-commerce operations or category/business management roles.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and digital acumen.
- Passion for customer experience, technology, and online business growth.
- Experience working with both marketplace platforms and D2C websites is a plus.
