Finance & Accounting Manager - Business Finance & Corporate Accounting (8-16 yrs)

About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Manager to oversee the business finance and corporate accounting functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial accuracy, delivering strategic insights, and driving financial planning to support our growth and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

Business Finance

1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning.

- Analyze actual performance vs. budget and forecasts; deliver insightful variance analysis.

- Collaborate with business leaders to support strategic decisions with financial insights.

2. Revenue & Cost Management:

- Monitor revenue trends, profitability metrics, and cost structures.

- Identify and implement opportunities for cost optimization in partnership with operations.

3. Business Case Development:

- Develop financial models for new investments, product launches, or strategic projects.

- Assess financial viability and risks associated with business initiatives.

Corporate Accounting

1. Financial Reporting:

- Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures.

- Prepare consolidated financial statements in line with GAAP/IFRS standards.

2. General Ledger Management:

- Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and overall GL maintenance.

- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.

3. Audit & Compliance:

- Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits.

- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.

4. Treasury & Cash Management:

- Manage cash flows, liquidity planning, and banking relationships.

- Oversee working capital including AR/AP to optimize cash cycles.

Qualifications

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (CA preferred)

Experience:

- 5-10 years in finance and accounting with a strong background in FP&A and corporate accounting.

- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and corporate finance principles.

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems like SAP/Oracle and tools like Excel, QuickBooks.

Soft Skills:

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of working cross-functionally.

- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
